In Spring 1974, Fred and Chris Barrera started one of the first mobile DJ services in the St. Louis area. By Fall of that year they had several DJs working for them and knew they had to expand and coined themselves Aries Audio Enterprises. In 1993 the name was changed to The Aries Company and they have expanded to include anything you can imagine to make your dream event come true! Now with the third generation hard at work, Aries is a proud leader in the party rental and tech services scene.
In 1952 Art Baisch & Roy Skinner opened their doors on the historic St. Louis Flower Market. They mainly consigned fresh flowers for local growers, gaining their reputation of offering the finest quality flowers. In the beginning they had 3700 sq. ft. of space that they have expanded to 160,000 sq. ft.! Now in the third generation, Baisch & Skinner is the only family owned and operated distributor on the St. Louis Flower Market.
Felice Bertarelli opened Bertarelli Cutlery 1967 in a small garage, selling and sharpening knives for chefs and home cooks in the St. Louis area. Bertarellis recently opened their first storefront on the St. Louis Hill on Marconi, a space that allows then to have a quant store, selling products that they, and their top chef clientele, believe in. Bertarelli services many St. Louis area restaurants, processing more than 2200 knives a day!
Eat Here St. Louis sources food from local farms and sells it to local restaurants. Eat Here works with about 80 farmers and provides fresh, local produce, meat, eggs, dairy, nuts and grain to around 90 restaurants. Eat Here was started by Andy Ayers and recently bought by Preston and Megan Walker. The Walkers are very excited to grow their business and get the freshest food to their neighbors.
Garrett Paper is a family owned and operated St. Louis company, if you give them a call you’re sure to talk to a Garrett! They have been providing Foodservice disposable and janitorial products since 1986. Garrett’s goal is to provide excellent service and products to their customers, stocking over 5000 different products, many being from competing manufacturers to make sure you get the right product for you!

Jenny Rearick and Sloan Coleman were looking for something fun to break up their normal day to day. In 2010 they bought their first press and started Tiny Little Monsters in their basement studio. Things have grown since then and they now employ 14 people. Jenny and Sloan have a passion for art, graphic design, and printmaking and they have found a perfect fit in their print shop.
